Since 2023, a member of the Game Design Committee for the
REC Foundation's Aerial Drone Competition
— a fast-growing STEM program for students grades 5–12 across the
US. Contributes to the design of annual game missions, competition
gameplay mechanics, and official ruleset authorship for each
season's competition manual.
Recreational Pilot
Flying Since 2010
An enthusiast drone pilot with over a decade of recreational
flying experience. This hands-on background in aviation operations
and drone flight brings a practical, safety-conscious perspective
to shaping competition rules and student-centered gameplay.
The RECF Aerial Drone Competition challenges students in four
missions: Teamwork, Autonomous Flight, Piloting Skills, and
Communications — preparing them for growing careers in drone
technology and aviation.
Spent nearly two decades at PlaneSense growing from Flight
Scheduler to Application Developer — building a deep fluency in
both flight operations and technology along the way. Today the
focus is on database architecture, Power BI reporting, and custom
internal tools that keep a fractional aviation operation running
smoothly. Past roles covered scheduling 30 Pilatus PC-12s,
supervising the operations floor, and running the FAR Part 135
charter program.
